Rajpal Yadav Refuses ₹9 Crore Settlement, Chooses To Fight Cheque Bounce Case In Court: Lawyer Reveals

Actor Rajpal Yadav is currently embroiled in a legal dispute involving a ₹9 crore cheque bounce case and has chosen to contest the matter in court rather than settle it. According to his lawyer, the actor is not interested in reaching an out-of-court agreement and instead wants to present his arguments before the judiciary.

The matter was recently heard in the Delhi High Court, where the court sought clarity on whether Yadav intended to settle the dues, especially since he had earlier indicated a willingness to repay the amount. However, his lawyer revealed that the actor has now changed his stance. He stated, “The court asked Rajpal ji… whether he now intends to settle… Rajpal ji responded that he no longer wishes to settle and wants to argue the case.”

Following this, an application was filed on his behalf to proceed with legal arguments instead of settlement discussions. The court has now scheduled the next hearing for April 1, where both sides are expected to present their case in detail.

After the hearing, Yadav also expressed confidence in the judicial system. He said, “I have complete faith in the judicial system of India… we will try to bring out the truth.”

The case has drawn significant attention, especially since it is linked to a long-standing financial dispute that dates back several years. Reports suggest that the issue stems from unpaid dues related to a loan, which eventually escalated to around ₹9 crore.

Despite earlier legal setbacks, including jail time and ongoing proceedings, the actor now appears determined to fight the case on legal grounds rather than resolve it financially. The final outcome will depend on how the arguments unfold in court in the upcoming hearings.
